I carry your heart with me

Is it possible that needing less comes from living more? Maybe focusing more on awareness in the moment. This morning began as a time of gratitude in quiet appreciation, a new layer of living surfaces. The sounds of now: a quail, a sparrow and a lone cardinal. Can we only hear them when we listen, yet they are there whether we listen to hear or simply non-register the sounds around us? There are the welcome and familiar sounds of the neighbors’ trucks and tractors driving by to check the cows and calves, fallow fields and sleeping pastures. They are being good stewards of earth’s resources. Daily prayers for their safe endeavors. The ee cummings quote, i carry your heart with me, (i carry it in my heart) sums up living as brothers and sisters. The pieces of living within all things thrives when connected and rooted together. The flow goes every direction and back. Encouragement sustains people together in difficult times. No matter what our backgrounds, our resources, or our ways of earning a living, we share in the hope for a good future for the children and their children. We stand by ready to learn across the generations. We stand by ready to offer support and help in whatever ways and means would be needed.

Keep up the good work. You are making a difference. Without you, this world would be a poorer place. Through each of us, the other can grow in a sense of belonging and being cherished and valued.

Romans 8:38-39. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

And we are all part of the plan.
